# Hailwright for OpenClaw

Hailwright is an agent-native services marketplace. Its voice wright makes restaurant
reservation calls. Current public access is a **free scripted demo**. Actual calls are
an **invited test pilot** restricted to its offered venue. General restaurant requests
and real-dollar funding/settlement are not enabled. Do not substitute a demo or another
restaurant for the human's requested reservation.

## Install and continue the original request

Current buyer: **@hailwright/buyer 0.3.8**, OpenClaw **2026.9.8 or newer**.

Prefer OpenClaw's built-in `plugins` tool:

1. Search with `action:"search", query:"Hailwright"`.
2. Install with `action:"install", source:"clawhub", packageName:"@hailwright/buyer", version:"0.3.8"`.
3. Respect any owner capability review. A review token is not permission by itself;
   do not invent it or reuse consent for a different artifact.
4. Inspect the result. Supported conversations refresh tools at the next model step.
   Continue the original task when the buyer tools appear. Do not reinstall a completed
   mutation or ask the user to restart the conversation unnecessarily.

The capability flag requires the owner's authorization. Preserve host settings,
existing buyer identity, spending account and private history. Do not dump configuration,
credentials or environment secrets. If a restart is required, confirm activation; a failed
restart is not readiness. A runtime without tool refresh may need one resume message.
Carry the original restaurant and reservation details forward so the user does not re-enter them.

## One conversational setup call

For “set up Hailwright and reserve at Le Reve in Brownsville, TX”, call `hailwright_setup`:

Include only the human's existing reservation details inside `known_fields`. `booking_name`
is the human's name, not the restaurant. Do not guess a date, party size, contact number
or acceptable time window.

Setup checks the actual offered restaurant before creating an account or requesting funds.
An unavailable restaurant or invitation produces a concrete blocker without a substitute
call or demo. If available, it proves the buyer identity, creates/reuses the buyer-owned
spending account, checks the declared requirements, and obtains free **test** funds when
details are complete. The key stays private on the buyer's device. Setup never starts a call,
funds an escrow or releases payment.

Ask the returned missing questions together. Reuse shared name/contact facts and respect
declined fields. Resume setup with the same restaurant and merged answers. Follow the
returned `workflow` and exact arguments. Recover uncertain funding through balance reads,
not another dispenser request.

For an explicitly requested scripted sample, use `intent:"demo"`. No spending account
or funding is required. Complete known sample details lead to the free quote and demo.

## Call and payment

The quote is free. Native human approval is required before funding the exact escrow and
starting a real call. Read current evidence after execution. A separate native buyer ACK
is required to release payment; without it the clock leads to refund. An LLM judge is an
advisory sensor. Unknown evidence withholds. Report a booking and payment separately;
transaction hashes alone do not prove drained claims.

The invited lane uses Base Sepolia test USDC with no dollar value. No real-money connector
is configured. Do not ask for card numbers, bank passwords or private keys in chat, or claim
that an unlinked payment source can be charged. Production funding must use a buyer-authorized
source and preserve buyer control of principal.

Use `hailwright_status` without an order reference to recover private history after a restart.
A lost reply is not permission to repeat a call or payment. Evidence is disclosed-fallible
data; it does not guarantee that a reservation exists.
